Little things.

I take a pretty long walk most mornings, despite where I am and what needs to taken care of. Everyone should take a little time, just 45 minutes a day, to appreciate the beauty of life on a walk. It helps to put things into perspective.

While I’ve been in Auckland, this gentleman has made it a point to wave and say hello to me each day I’ve passed the freight yard during my reflection time. That small act of kindness has been one of my trip’s highlights. He makes me laugh and smile every time. The optimism and energy he shares with me has also served as a reminder that little things will make a big impact. Thanks to whoever you are for the warmth and love.
